Okay, it's the day after Christmas, and we haven't gotten cards out yet.  Last year the task wasn't completed 'til February but this year will be different.  I'm resolved to get Christmas cards out before MLK weekend in January.

I hope everyone is having a restful and peaceful time.  I know the holidays are a tough time for a lot of people, and in some ways they are for me too, but having kids, it's hard not to be swept up in the magic.

The reviews of my new book Ivan! have been outstanding so far, and it seems to be selling well. For those of you that have purchased books and music from me, I thank you so much for your support. I feel so blessed and lucky to have an opportunity to share my art with the world.  I'm also thankful for the health of family and friends. This is the greatest blessing of all.

In a week or so, I'll be releasing an MP3 single called, The 911 Song.  It's a musical statement against the war-profiteering that has been taking place since 9/11.  There is a video that will be available on YouTube soon, and the MP3 will be available on iTunes and all other digital music retailers.  I'll have more information forthcoming, but for now I just want to wish everybody a wonderful remainder of the holiday season, and a New Year's that sees more peace in our world.

Best Wishes,

Tim

Here we are at last.  Ivan! A Pound Dog's View on Life, Love and Leashes is officially out and available everywhere and so far the reviews have been great!  Your word-of-mouth will be huge in how far this three legged dog goes.  Thank you for your support so far, and I look forward to the next leg of the journey.

Best,

Tim

Hi Everybody,

I hope you're enjoying the summer, and are getting outside a lot.  I went for a gorgeous backpack up a rain forest river on the west side of the Olympic Peninsula, and also managed to disappear up in the upper Colville for a few days and just got back.  Lots of mosquito bites and a few blisters, but now that sort of fun is over, and it's back to work.

In just two short months, the hardback edition of Ivan! A Pound Dog's View on Life, Love, and Leashes will be in bookstores and e-retailers. If you haven't already signed up for e-mail updates, I urge you to do so.  If you are a dog lover who likes to metaphysically wrestle with the ghosts of Descartes, Emerson, or other dead philosophers and poets, this might be the book you've been waiting for.

We've got some national media reviewing Ivan! as I write, and I'll be interviewed on Animal Radio in early October and doing a whole bunch of book release stuff around that time.   Please feel free to leave any comments or questions regarding such and I'll keep you informed.

Take care and I'll be in touch.

Best,

Tim
